Thank you Mon Repos Sports for this avenue of expression. I am looking forward to generating some discussion . This blog will focus primarily on Socio- Polictical issues. I hope that the issues that I may find interesting might be just as interesting to the visitors. I would request that people refrain from personal attacks but rather direct thier criticisims at the idears or suggestions instead. I welcome constructive criticism it is the bedrock of polictics. We humans as sentient beings are naturally polictical by nature. We are different from other creature in that we can have a discourse of idears. Through consultation, discussion, agreement and also disagreement we as social beings are able to formulate social policies. By engaging in Social discourse which in this case can be seen as (grass roots) because it encourages all voices to participate, and seeks not to marginalize any.

My next posting will focuss on the importance of political discourse.Secoundly we can explore the question, what does it mean to the Caribbean diaspora that Obama is President of the United States.
