No More

The constant emergence of molestation/sexual abuse in the guestbook, clearly suggests that this is a pertinent issue wich needs to be addressed. Whether the guestbook is the right place for it is a non issue as far as I am concerned. What is at the heart of the matter is the number of persons who have suffered and continue to suffer on a daily basis at the hands of such cruelty.

The question to be asked is, what are we going to do about it. Do we sit on our laurels and get upset at those who are trying to find solace by talking about it at a forum that allows them the previlige of anonymity or do we show some empaphy? After following the discourse for some time now, I have come to the conclusion that it is high time perpetrators pay for their sins. Too often we allow persons to go off scotch free, just because we perceive them as the elite. I think it's time we take the wool off our eyes and see through their disguise. The guilty must pay regardless who they are, not withstanding the fact that one is innocent unless proven guilty.

For those of you who can take off that armour of pain and open those lifelong wounds to air your views, I say bravo. I do hope you get justice. To those who criticize, the rest is up to you. I rest my case.

Welcome to my space! (LOL). Let me warn you that I do not intend to play miss goody two shoes, but "devil's advocate. Therefore, my purpose is to present to you a multi-dimensional take on issues that may at times seem quite controversial. I am certain that you will disagree with me at times, if not most, but when that comes around, let's just agree to disagree. Afterall we are not robots and are therefore not programmed with the same thought processes.
