Correct me if I am wrong, we have an independent organization lead by Dr King , coupled with another charitable gentleman who has secured 75 scholarships for the youth of St Lucia to an American college. The government of St Lucia is vacillating putting this initiative in jeopardy and by so doing any future offers of help. What is the excuse now. Spare us the manure and initiate sme action

By this administration’s actions they have and continue to show their position on education, it reeks of an attempt to keep the people down and uneducated, so they may not be challenges and the people easy to control. They n have shown no vision and if by chance they placed a high premium or any premium on education and the youth they would act swiftly to guarantee these loans. If a few good men can do so much for our youth where is our government to step up to the plate.

I call on all youth organizations and students councils including the national students’ council to hold this government accountable. Hold their collective feet’s to the fire this is to important and the repercussions too great to ignore. Mothers and fathers groups’ where are you, defending the future of the youth and St Lucia by extension. Fight for the future of the children.

If I hear one more stupid excuse from this government again, I will choke on my own vomit. I wish that I had completed my studies for I would be in St Lucia right now organizing a student’s protest. Take your country back people and it starts with the youth, I will be there someday too fight for St Lucia, It only pains me that I am not there now.

Mr Joseph,I will agree with you,on this matter and some measures need to be taken, having heavy fines or imprisonment, will deter members of the community, form ravaging our river, and the landscape,Take a look at what was such a beautiful community, the old folks keep the rivers clean,as it was also a source of drinking, water,as well as doing there washing, and provided a meal as well, the wide spread of litter is every where, and the Rats, and mice seem to be the new government.Let's take action now.

Having spent the best part of my life in Mon Repos, and sadly living through the recent departure of some of those I knew growing up, Prince, Ma Kerbie and my extended sister Magnora! I'm left with a melancholy feeling of what I call "the setting of the sun".
To those connected with the names mentioned, I extend my most sincere and heartfelt condolences. My prayers are off to the Lord for your strength and safe keeping as you mourn.
I love you all, for you have been part of me all my life.
