As Hurricane Frances pounds Florida with strong winds and rain, her big brother, Hurricane Ivan, looms in the atlantic. The projected path of this Category 3 monster is expected to pass over St. Lucia by Tuesday morning. Hurricane warnings should be in effect by Monday morning and St. Lucians will be bustling for provisions and securing their homes and businesses all into the evening. May the Good Lord have mercy on us and help us through this ordeal.
