Ma George Passes On
Ma George of La Haut/ Lumbard passed away during the second week of September 2006.  She was affectionately known as "Are-Jah-Blea" and "Rap-To-Me".  She represented the "working class" in our society, having had to depend on an agricultural plot and on daily paid wages with little or no social security income in her latter days.  In earlier times she participated in "La Rose".  She was a fearless and opinionated person whose primary means of communication was via the creole language.  We note the passing of Ma George.
